Who we are

Clikh (clikh.in) is a brand of Sureva Consulting LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India and based in Hyderabad, Telangana. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Sureva Consulting LLP.

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to personal data we collect through our lead forms on Facebook, Instagram, Google and LinkedIn, through our website clikh.in, and when you contact us directly.

It does not apply to websites we build for our clients. Each client is responsible for the personal data collected through its own website. It also does not cover how Meta, Google and LinkedIn use your data on their own platforms, which is governed by their own privacy policies.

Personal data we collect

Through our lead forms on Facebook, Instagram, Google and LinkedIn

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Your answers to questions in the form, such as what your business is and whether you currently have a website
• Other details you choose to submit in the form, such as your company name or job title

On Facebook and Instagram, Meta may verify your phone number using a one-time SMS passcode. Meta, Google or LinkedIn may pre-fill some fields from your account or profile. You can edit them before submitting. We may also receive details about your submission, such as which ad or form you responded to and the date and time you submitted it.

Through our website

• Details you enter in a contact form, such as your name, email address, phone number and message
• Technical information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, such as your device and browser type, IP address, pages visited and how you reached our website

When you contact us or work with us

• Your contact details and the content of your messages or calls with us
• If you become a client, the information needed to provide our services and invoice you

Why we use it

We use your personal data to:

• respond to your enquiry about our website services
• follow up with you about our website services and offers
• understand your requirements and prepare a proposal
• provide our services and manage billing, if you become a client
• show relevant ads, and measure and improve our website and advertising
• comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or misuse

We may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.

Consent

By submitting a lead form or contact form, you consent to us processing your personal data for the purposes above.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing privacy@clikh.in. After you withdraw consent, we will stop processing your personal data within a reasonable time, except where the law requires or permits us to keep it. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Sharing your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share personal data with:

• service providers that help us run our business, such as our website hosting, email, analytics and communication providers
• advertising platforms such as Google, Meta and LinkedIn, to run, measure and improve our ads. This may include sharing contact details you have given us, such as your email address or phone number (usually in encrypted form), so these platforms can perform advertising and ad measurement services on our behalf
• professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers
• government authorities, courts or law enforcement, where required by law
• a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring

Some of these service providers may store or process data outside India.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. After that, we delete it.

Cookies and advertising

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to work properly, to understand how visitors use it, and to measure and improve our advertising.

We may use advertising services such as Google Ads, Meta ads and LinkedIn Ads, including remarketing. This means third-party vendors, including Google, Meta and LinkedIn, may use cookies to show our ads to you on other websites and apps based on your past visits to our website.

We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. You can read how Google uses information from websites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can:

• block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not work properly
• manage or turn off personalised ads from Google at myadcenter.google.com
• opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
• manage how Meta and LinkedIn use your data for ads in your Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn ad settings

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal data. However, no method of storing or transmitting data is completely secure.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• request information about the personal data we hold about you, how it has been processed, and who it has been shared with
• request correction, completion, updating or erasure of your personal data
• withdraw your consent
• have your grievances addressed
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@clikh.in. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

If you are not satisfied with our response to your grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Our services are meant for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Grievance Officer and contact

We will respond to grievances within 30 days of receiving them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
